New Themes Released: Arctic Exploration and Beach Vacations
On June 2, Lego Korea announced the launch of 23 new Lego City and Friends products for the second half of the year, themed around adventure and relaxation for the summer season.
The new lineup consists of 10 Lego City sets and 13 Lego Friends sets. Notably, the collection features a variety of themes and functions, including a remote-controlled train released for the first time in three years, as well as products that can float on water.
The Lego City series introduces two Arctic exploration sets set against a snowy backdrop. The "Arctic Exploration Remote Control Express Train" can be operated using a remote control or an app, while the "Arctic Exploration Science Lab Truck" is equipped with six-wheel suspension and a rotating rooftop observatory.
Two "My City" series sets, including the "City Tower" and "Central Train Station," have also been released, recreating vibrant cityscapes with large buildings. Additionally, three police series sets, as well as three vehicle sets including a tow truck, bulldozer, and rescue aircraft, are available.
The Lego Friends series features six beach vacation-themed sets. The flagship product, "Yacht Trip," allows users to enjoy activities such as riding a water scooter, surfing, and dolphin watching on a yacht equipped with cooking, dining, and relaxation spaces. The set also includes a mechanism that moves the sail when the wheel is turned.
Three sets themed around urban leisure spaces include a flower cafe, a comic book and game shop, and a record store, providing spaces that encompass a variety of hobbies and interests. In addition, four pet-themed sets have also been introduced.
The new products for the second half of the year are available at Lego stores nationwide, both online and offline.
