Hampyeong County in Jeollanam-do announced on June 1 that it has signed a business agreement with Pan Asia, a European agri-food distribution specialist, for the export of "Nabi Rice" worth 200,000 dollars.

Hampyeong County held the signing ceremony with Pan Asia during the Korea-Thailand Agri-food Trade Business Briefing, which took place at Novotel Siam Square in Bangkok, Thailand, on May 31.

Pan Asia, the company that signed the agreement, is an agri-food distribution specialist established in 2002. The company operates six branches across Europe, including London, UK, and is known to have an extensive distribution network through more than 6,000 local business partners.

Through this agreement, both parties plan to continue cooperating to strengthen the export base for Nabi Rice, including expanding its distribution and increasing brand awareness within Europe.

Lee Sangik, Governor of Hampyeong County, stated, "This is a valuable opportunity to promote Hampyeong's excellent agricultural specialties in the global market," and added, "We will continue to work closely together to expand exports of high-quality agricultural products."

Nabi Rice is a premium rice produced in Hampyeong County's pristine natural environment under strict quality control. It is consistently well-received by both domestic and international consumers for its excellent texture and stable quality..
