The Gyeonggi Job Foundation held a workshop for employment counselors.
The Gyeonggi Women's New Work Center, operated by the Gyeonggi Job Foundation, announced that it held a workshop on the 30th at the Mirinae Healbing Club in Yangpyeong for employment counselors from six undesignated New Work Centers in the regions of Gwacheon, Gwangju, Anseong, Yangpyeong, Yeoju, and Hanam.
The Gyeonggi Women's New Work Center serves as a central institution supporting women's employment, entrepreneurship, and prevention of career interruptions. It operates a variety of programs to comprehensively support job seekers, including those in areas where a New Work Center has not been designated.
This workshop was organized to establish a cooperative system and strengthen the network between the headquarters and undesignated regions.
A total of 15 counselors attended the workshop, where they shared the progress of projects conducted in the first half of the year and held a discussion meeting to explore cooperation strategies.

The Gyeonggi Women's New Work Center plans to support Gender Equality Week events to be held in each city and county in September, aiming to attract the interest of job seekers in regions without a designated New Work Center and actively promote projects that support the prevention of career interruptions.
The Gyeonggi Job Foundation will actively pursue projects in undesignated regions by closely cooperating with counselors in those areas. It plans to provide vocational education and training to help restore job seekers' confidence in undesignated regions and support women with career experience in the province to successfully return to work with the help of local counselors.
Yoon Deokryong, CEO of the Gyeonggi Job Foundation, said, "It is very important for New Work Center counselors to play a role in improving awareness so that women do not experience career interruptions due to childbirth and other reasons, and in spreading a culture of work-life balance. We will strengthen the cooperative system between regions to help women job seekers in the province reenter society with the support of a nearby New Work Center."
