Jangsu County Holds Farmland Information System User Training

This training was organized to support the smooth preparation, issuance, and maintenance of farmland ledgers following the reorganization of the farmland ledger system. The training was provided for public officials and assistants in charge of farmland management at the township and town offices. To enhance the work capabilities of those responsible for farmland management, Lee Sanghoon, section chief of the Jeonbuk Regional Headquarters of Korea Rural Community Corporation, was invited as a lecturer.

Last year, the county completed maintenance on 12,793 out of 13,127 key farmland cases, or 97.4%, including farmland under 1,000 square meters that had not been included in the farmland register and farmland subject to focused maintenance such as those with specific usage or lease status.

This training focused on practical exercises for maintaining farmland ledgers and utilizing the Farmland Information System to ensure the smooth maintenance of 48,227 cases, including farmland not registered in the farmland register, in accordance with the 2025 comprehensive farmland ledger maintenance guidelines.

Hwang Hyuncheol, head of the Agricultural Industry Policy Division, said, "Through this training, I hope that the work capabilities of frontline farmland ledger managers will be improved, leading to higher satisfaction among farmers with farmland management services."
