"Dokdo, Our Land, How Have You Been?"... Gyeongbuk Office of Education Conducts On-site Training for 49 Educational Public Officials

The Gyeongbuk Office of Education (Superintendent Lim Jongshik) is conducting the "2025 On-site Experiential Training for Educational Public Officials" over a four-day, three-night schedule on Ulleungdo and Dokdo from May 27 to May 30, 2025.


This training program was organized to boost the morale of educational public officials who are dedicated to their duties as members of the school community, and to help them develop a correct historical perspective through firsthand experiences on Ulleungdo and Dokdo.

"Dokdo, Our Land, How Have You Been?"... Gyeongbuk Office of Education Conducts On-site Training for 49 Educational Public Officials Forty-nine educational public officials from the Gyeongbuk Office of Education visited Dokdo for an on-site experiential training and took a commemorative photo.

The participants were selected based on recommendations from public and private schools and educational administrative agencies in various regions of North Gyeongsang Province. A total of 49 educational public officials, including cooks and administrative staff, took part in the program.


In particular, the training included a tour of Dokdo and a visit to the Dokdo Museum, providing participants with an opportunity to reflect on the historical value and significance of Dokdo. It also served as a platform for participants to share job-related information and strengthen communication with colleagues from other institutions.


Jung Jonghee, Director of the School Support Division at the Gyeongbuk Office of Education, said, "Through this on-site experiential training, we hope to enhance pride in Dokdo and further improve the morale and job satisfaction of educational public officials who quietly fulfill their responsibilities in schools."
