Hoban Group Executives Including Chairman Seongyu Kim Personally Serve Nutritious Meals to Senior Citizens

Over 20 Executives and Employees Participate
Engaged in Every Step from Meal Service to Dishwashing
Donation of 10 Million Won Also Delivered

Hoban Group visited Caritas Bangbae General Social Welfare Center in Seocho-gu, Seoul, to serve nutritious meals to senior citizens. This volunteer activity, in which the group's executives directly participated, was conducted as part of the company's commitment to corporate social responsibility.

Hoban Group announced on the 29th that more than 20 executives, including Chairman Seongyu Kim and Chief Planning Officer Daehun Kim, took part in the meal service. They carefully prepared and served nutritious meals consisting of pork belly, fresh vegetables for wraps, and seasonal fruits to approximately 130 senior citizens from vulnerable groups in Seocho-gu. The executives personally participated in every step of the process, from preparing ingredients and cooking to serving and cleaning up, adding to the significance of the volunteer work.


The Caritas Love Restaurant, where the volunteer activity took place, is a free meal center operated by the Catholic Caritas Sisters. Since 1998, it has been serving vulnerable groups such as recipients of basic livelihood security and elderly people living alone. Hoban Group has been supporting and volunteering at this location since last year.

During the event, a donation of 10 million won, prepared by the Hoban employee volunteer group "Hoban Sarang Nanuumi," was also delivered. Chairman Seongyu Kim stated, "This volunteer activity was not just about providing a single meal, but about sharing warm hope with the local community," and added, "We will continue to reach out to neighbors in need and expand our social contribution activities in the future."


Meanwhile, the Hoban employee volunteer group "Hoban Sarang Nanuumi," established in 2009, has carried out more than 160 volunteer activities and achieved a cumulative donation amount of 1 billion won.
