Singer G-Dragon (real name Kwon Jiyong) has embarked on social contribution activities through music.
According to his agency, Galaxy Corporation, on May 29, the Just Peace Foundation invited Japanese Paralympic athletes to G-Dragon's 'Weaver Mensch' concert held at Kyocera Dome in Osaka, Japan, on May 25. This invitation was in response to a letter of gratitude sent by Japanese Paralympic athlete Kubota Kota, who expressed that G-Dragon's music helped him achieve good results in his competitions.
The Just Peace Foundation is a non-profit organization established by G-Dragon on August 8 of last year to put into practice musical activities that deliver courage and peace to people.
Choi Yongho, Chairman of the Just Peace Foundation and Chief Happiness Officer (CHO) of Galaxy Corporation, stated, "We are striving to identify and carry out public interest activities tailored to each city and country where the concerts are held," adding, "Going forward, we will continue to foster a culture of sharing centered on the Just Peace Foundation during the tour, in addition to donating concert proceeds."
