Complaints have been filed with the National Human Rights Commission regarding Reform New Party candidate Lee Junseok's use of explicit and violent language related to the female body during a televised presidential debate.

On the 29th, the Human Rights Commission announced that it had received 35 complaints alleging human rights violations in connection with Lee's remarks during the debate on the 27th.
The complainants reportedly urged the Commission to investigate, claiming that Lee's statements constituted either "deliberate hate speech" or "acts of human rights violation."
The Commission stated that it will review the content of the complaints before deciding whether to initiate an investigation.
