IBK Industrial Bank Launches 'I-Gihu Donghaeng Card'

Unlimited Public Transportation with a Fixed Amount
Up to 7% Discount on Online Shopping and Delivery Apps

IBK Industrial Bank announced on May 29 that it has launched the 'I-Gihu Donghaeng Card' in collaboration with the Seoul Metropolitan Government to promote public transportation and enhance convenience.

The I-Gihu Donghaeng Card is a postpaid transportation credit card that, unlike existing prepaid cards, allows unlimited use of Seoul's public transportation?including subways, buses, and Ttareungi bike-sharing?on a flat-rate basis without the need for separate recharging or refunds. Users can register the card on the Tmoney website to receive fare benefits.

IBK Industrial Bank has also included services in the I-Gihu Donghaeng Card that are useful for everyday life.

First, it offers a 0.5% discount on spending at all domestic merchants, with no minimum spending requirement or discount limit from the previous month.

If users spend more than 500,000 won in the previous month, they receive a 1% discount in major spending categories such as online shopping, home shopping, delivery apps, large supermarkets, coffee shops, convenience stores, transportation, gas stations and charging, telecommunications, and pet-related expenses.

In membership categories such as OTT services (Netflix, YouTube Premium, Disney+, TVing) and online memberships (Coupang Wow Membership, Naver Membership Plus), a 5% discount is offered.

If users consecutively spend at least 500,000 won per month for three months, the discount rate increases to 1.5% for major spending categories and 7% for membership categories.

The annual fee is 14,000 won for domestic use (BC). The card can be issued at IBK Industrial Bank branches, through the i-ONE Bank (personal) app, or via the IBK Card app.

An IBK Industrial Bank representative stated, "We will strive to encourage public transportation use, actively participate in carbon reduction policies, and provide more benefits to our customers."
