The Busan Regional Veterans Office (Director Nam Il Lee) is launching a patriotic campaign in collaboration with Busan Transportation Broadcasting in June, the "Month of National Defense and Veterans."
This campaign consists of a 40-second message delivered by the director, promoting the value of honoring veterans. The message will be broadcast three times daily throughout June: at 3:28 p.m. every day, and at 8:15 a.m. and 6:15 p.m. on weekdays.
Director Nam Il Lee stated, "The freedom and prosperity we enjoy in Korea today are thanks to the sacrifices and contributions of our national heroes," emphasizing, "Honoring veterans is the responsibility of every citizen, and the Busan Veterans Office will strive to realize 'honoring veterans in everyday life, for everyone.'"
On June 6, Memorial Day, Director Nam Il Lee will appear on TBN's flagship current affairs program, "Busan Magazine," for a special interview. The broadcast will feature major veterans' projects related to the Month of National Defense and Veterans, as well as messages for the citizens.
Director Lee added, "Honoring veterans is not something grand, but something close to us in everyday life," and expressed hope that this campaign will help spread gratitude and respect throughout the local community.
