SanDisk is introducing customized storage solutions in Korea designed for creators who work in a variety of environments. The new products, including the SanDisk Creator Phone SSD, have been developed to support the entire creative process, from ideation to final output.
Shim Youngcheol, head of SanDisk Korea, announced at a press conference held on the 29th at the Grand InterContinental Seoul Parnas in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, that seven new products, including the SanDisk Creator Phone SSD, will be launched in the domestic market. Shim stated, "The creator market is evolving into an industry of its own," adding, "We will continue to introduce products needed at every stage of the workflow, from shooting to data transfer, transmission, and backup."

The new products are designed to allow creators to produce content on the go, taking into account the creative process of those who work in various locations. In particular, they have been developed to address the growing trend of content creation using smartphones. Another notable feature is that they can be attached directly to MagSafe devices.
In terms of performance, the products offer outstanding specifications, including a maximum capacity of 2TB, read speeds of 1000MB/s, and write speeds of 950MB/s. Creators can record Apple ProRes video in 4K at 60fps (frames per second) directly to the drive and immediately proceed to editing.
The 'silicon shell' design contributes to enhanced durability and reliability. The devices are equipped with drop protection that ensures safety even from heights of up to 3 meters, as well as IP65-rated water and dust resistance. They can withstand water jets at 30kPa pressure for three minutes, and have been tested to remain operational even when exposed to dust.
SanDisk also expressed its ambition to remain a leader in the memory market. Shim Youngcheol stated, "Following the spin-off from Western Digital, we will move even faster toward becoming a leading and specialized company in the flash memory market."
Meanwhile, from today until June 8, SanDisk is holding a pop-up store in Seongsu-dong, Seongdong-gu, Seoul, to showcase its new products. The company plans to present the entire series, including the Creator microSD Card, Creator SD UHS-II Card, Creator Phone Drive, and Creator USB-C Flash Drive.
