Namyangju City in Gyeonggi Province (Mayor: Joo Kwangdeok) announced on May 29 that it will hold the '2026 College Admission Strategy Briefing' for high school students and their parents on July 5.
This briefing is designed to help students and parents develop rational strategies for college admission amid the changing admission system. In particular, it will focus on admission strategies tailored to the circumstances of the Namyangju area and on effective management of student records.
The event will run for approximately three hours, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., and will cover the following topics: understanding early and regular admission processes and strategies for success in Namyangju; strategies for writing student records that lead to admission; and key points for this year's third-year high school students regarding early and regular applications. The lectures will be delivered by Oh Jaesung, Director of the Dawon Education Admission Research Institute, with an emphasis on providing practical information.
Any high school student or parent in Namyangju City is eligible to participate, and registration is free after signing up as a member on the Namyangju City Talent Development Support Center website starting June 11.
A Namyangju City official stated, "College admission is such a crucial turning point that it can determine the life of a high school student, so accurate information and strategy are essential. We hope this briefing will help Namyangju high school students and parents strengthen their competitiveness in the college admission process."
