Lee Junseok Casts Early Vote in Dongtan: "Will Achieve Political, Generational, and Era Change"

Lee Junseok, the Reform New Party presidential candidate, cast his vote in Dongtan, his own constituency, on the first day of early voting, the 29th.

On the morning of the same day, at the Dongtan 9-dong Administrative Welfare Center in Hwaseong, Gyeonggi Province, Lee said, "I completed my early voting in Dongtan, which is the polling station closest to my home."

Lee stated, "Throughout this election campaign, I have repeatedly talked about the 'miracle of Dongtan.' Dongtan is the constituency that gained national recognition in the last general election for demonstrating the strongest passion for political change."

He added, "As a member of the National Assembly representing Dongtan 2 New Town, I am running in this election with the determination to achieve political change, generational change, and a new era, reflecting the aspirations of the people here."

Lee appealed, "To all Dongtan residents and citizens of the Republic of Korea who have not yet voted, I urge you to make a choice that will change Korea with your precious vote."

According to the National Election Commission, as of 11 a.m. on this day, the voter turnout stood at 7.0%. This is the highest early voting turnout recorded at this time of day in history.
