[Breaking] Bank of Korea Lowers Base Rate by 0.25%p to 2.50% Per Annum

The Monetary Policy Board of the Bank of Korea announced on May 29 that it had lowered the base interest rate to 2.50% per annum at its monetary policy meeting held at the Bank of Korea headquarters in Jung-gu, Seoul. This represents a reduction of 0.25 percentage points from the previous rate of 2.75% per annum.
