Samsung Welstory Introduces Ottogi Collaboration Menu at 150 Cafeterias

Samsung Welstory announced on May 29 that it will be offering a collaborative menu with Ottogi at over 150 cafeterias throughout the month of June.


This collaboration with Ottogi is part of the "MZ Lab" promotion, which aims to provide trendy culinary experiences by partnering with popular external brands, targeting the MZ generation who make up the main customer base of the cafeterias.

Samsung Welstory will introduce new dishes featuring Ottogi's signature products, curry and dumplings, in cafeterias decorated in Ottogi's iconic yellow color under the "Yellow Kitchen" concept. The company has developed a total of eight new menu items, including four curry dishes such as "Heart Pongdang Curry Tteokbokki" made with Ottogi Curry, the original powder-type curry, and four dishes featuring Ottogi's uniquely conceptualized dumplings, which have recently gained popularity. In particular, the "Rolling Dumpling Wonton Noodles" and "Chinese-Style Kanpung Dumplings" made with Ottogi Rolling Dumplings and Fried Dumplings are special recipe dishes created by Chef Park Eunyoung, who appeared as the "Goddess of Chinese Cuisine" on the show Black and White Chefs.


A large pop-up photo zone decorated with Ottogi's character "Yellows" will be set up near the cafeterias, and a card-flipping event where participants search for the secret recipe ingredients will be held, with "Ottogi Gift" packages containing Ottogi's signature products offered as prizes. In addition, at select locations such as universities and offices, an Ottogi food truck will serve convenient finger food snacks, and customer-invited cooking classes will also be held as part of the event.


A Samsung Welstory representative stated, "Ottogi is a brand with high customer favorability, so many sites expressed interest in participating in the promotion," adding, "We will continue to collaborate with a variety of brands to offer diverse culinary experiences to our cafeteria customers and strive to enhance customer satisfaction."
