The four participating organizations plan to establish a close cooperative system to identify jobs needed in the local community of Jangsu-gun and provide relevant information. Through these efforts, a variety of programs are expected to be developed to create jobs for returnees and new settlers in rural areas and to build a supportive environment for their settlement.

The main points of the agreement include: ▲creating rural jobs for urban residents and returnees; ▲collaborating to resolve labor shortages for farms and agri-food companies in Jeonbuk Special Self-Governing Province; ▲establishing an education support and cooperation system for rural work experience (internships); and ▲mutual cooperation for efficient support among the organizations.

Meanwhile, the Jangsu Return-to-Farming School, which was held for three days from May 15 to 17, incorporated the 'Rural Working Holiday Program' (offering work experience at eight farms and businesses), which drew high interest and positive feedback from trainees.

Choi Hunsik, governor of Jangsu-gun, stated, "It is highly meaningful to establish a system that enables joint efforts to create rural jobs through community activities and governance in Jangsu-gun," adding, "We will further develop this through specific collaborative projects in the future."
