On May 26, the Chungnam Social Service Institute announced that it participated in the relay campaign "Respect Children As They Are, Positive Parenting" to prevent child abuse.
The campaign, organized by the Ministry of Health and Welfare and the National Center for the Rights of the Child, is a nationwide relay initiative that began this month to raise awareness of the importance of protecting children's rights and creating a healthy parenting environment.
President Youngok Kim joined the campaign upon the recommendation of President Chanbae Kim of the Chungnam Economic Promotion Agency.
President Kim stated, "I hope that a culture of positive parenting, where children are respected, will spread," and added, "Chungnam Social Service Institute will also make continued efforts so that this campaign does not end as a one-time event, but contributes to ensuring that children can grow up safely and happily."
Meanwhile, President Youngok Kim nominated Geumhee Jeong, President of Chungnam Institute of Health and Environment, and Jangok Kim, Director of Cheonan Healthy Family Support Center, as the next participants in this child abuse prevention relay campaign.
