Democratic Party candidate Lee Jae Myung is giving a speech behind the backdrop on the 25th.

Democratic Party presidential candidate Lee Jae Myung visited Asan, South Chungcheong Province, on the 25th and stated, "If you entrust me with the administration, I will repay you by creating a completely different, fair, and hopeful country."

During his campaign speech at the square of Handeul Mulbit Park in Tangjeong-myeon that day, Lee said, "Democracy can only be protected when the sovereign people participate," and added, "If we become complacent even for a moment, there will be continued attempts to seize sovereignty with the arms entrusted by the people, destroy the constitutional order that everyone must uphold, and maintain power indefinitely."

He continued, "Even with labor, capital, and international credibility, we keep facing difficulties. The reason we are divided by gender, generation, and party is because we lack enough," emphasizing, "We must create new growth capabilities and fairly share opportunities and outcomes. Only then can this enormous inequality be alleviated, even if just a little."

He also asserted, "I made Seongnam a city people want to move to, and built the highest-rated roads in the country in Gyeonggi Province," and "I transformed the Democratic Party from a party known for infighting into a competent party of sovereign members, achieving the greatest landslide victory in constitutional history."

He then promised, "If you entrust me, Lee Jae Myung, with the administration, I will repay you by creating a completely different, fair, and hopeful country."

Candidate Lee Jae Myung appealed, "The people of the Republic of Korea are great. No crisis has ever been overcome by the power of the People Power Party, but always by the power of the people," and continued, "With the great strength of the people, let us prevent the return of the forces of insurrection, restore democratic constitutional order, and create a world where everyone can live together with hope through continuous growth."

Prior to this, Kim Jae Yeon, Standing Representative of the Progressive Party, along with Shin Hyun Sung, head of the Boryeong-Seocheon regional committee, and National Assembly members Hwang Myung Sun, Bok Gi Wang, Park Soo Hyun, and Kang Hoon Sik, gave supporting speeches.
