District Mayor Jang Inhong Participates in the 7th Guro Intercultural Festival

Guro District (District Mayor Jang Inhong) held the 7th Guro Intercultural Festival at Sindorim Opera House on May 24.

Now in its seventh year, the Guro Intercultural Festival is held annually to commemorate World Day for Cultural Diversity, aiming to realize an 'intercultural society' based on understanding and respect for diverse cultures.

This year's event was made more meaningful by the participation of District Mayor Jang Inhong, local residents, and multicultural families.

At the venue, various experience booths were operated, featuring traditional costumes, food, musical instruments, and games from different countries. A stage performance combining Korean traditional music and b-boying also received an enthusiastic response from the audience.

In particular, a variety of hands-on programs were prepared for children and families, making the festival a place where all generations could come together and enjoy.

District Mayor Jang Inhong stated, "The diversity of Guro District is a major driving force and asset for the development of our community," adding, "We will continue to create a warm Guro where all residents participate together as members of society."
