Asia Economy will host the '2025 Asia Future Enterprise Forum' on June 11 to discuss the industrialization potential of quantum computers?a next-generation core technology?and corporate strategies for their adoption.

Quantum computers are capable of processing multiple calculations simultaneously, allowing them to solve complex problems much faster than traditional computers. As they can be utilized in a variety of fields such as new drug development, autonomous driving, financial risk analysis, and energy efficiency, countries and companies around the world are competing to develop this technology.

This forum will examine the current state of quantum technology, its industrial applicability, and share strategies from corporations, government, and research institutions.

The keynote speeches will feature Hanhee Baek, Director of the IBM Research Quantum Algorithm Center, who contributed to the world's first calculation of the origin-of-life substances using quantum computers and has proven the potential of quantum technology; and Jungoo Lee, CEO of Qunova, who has developed computational technology to identify new drug candidates with quantum computers and is working toward commercialization.

In the corporate session, Sunghyuk Kim, Principal Research Fellow at LG Electronics Quantum AI Task, and Sangmin Lee, Head of Growth Business at SK Telecom Global A&I Center, will present cases of quantum technology applications. The expert discussion will include Jooseop Shim, Director of the Quantum Project Group at the Ministry of Science and ICT; Sangyoon Um, CEO of ID Quantique Korea; and Jiweon Yoon, CEO of SDT. The session will be moderated by Jongmin Baek, Tech Specialist at Asia Economy.

The special lecture in the afternoon will be delivered by Seungchul Kim, Principal Research Fellow at Samil PwC, on the topic of 'The Future Quantum Economy.' The following panel discussion will be chaired by Jinhui Yoon, President of the Korean Physical Society, and will feature Jaewan Kim, Director of the Quantum Information Technology Research Institute at Yonsei University, and Heejung Jung, Executive Director at Pascal Korea, to discuss industry-specific application cases and expansion strategies. We invite strong interest in this event, which will provide practical strategies and insights for industry professionals and engineers considering the practical use of quantum computers.
