Hampyeong County Introduces "Field-Oriented Administration" Resident Inconvenience Rapid Response System

Hampyeong County Introduces "Field-Oriented Administration" Resident Inconvenience Rapid Response System Jeonnam Hampyeong County Office building.

On May 25, Hampyeong County in Jeonnam announced the introduction of the "Resident Inconvenience Rapid Response System" to address inconveniences in residents' daily lives more quickly and proactively.

The "Resident Inconvenience Rapid Response System," which will be implemented next month, is designed to minimize the gap between when residents experience inconvenience and when it is addressed administratively, aiming to establish an active and trustworthy county government.

The core of the "Resident Inconvenience Rapid Response System" is that public officials will proactively visit sites to identify and resolve inconveniences or risk factors affecting residents. This system is significant in that it goes beyond passive responses to complaints, with public officials taking the initiative to improve residents' quality of life.

The county has given this system the subtitle "Omniscient Interference Point in Hampyeong," reflecting its commitment for public officials to actively "intervene" in residents' daily lives and pay close attention to their needs.

The operation of the system is both simple and efficient. When a public official discovers an inconvenience or risk factor on-site, they must immediately report it to the Planning and Budget Office. The Planning and Budget Office then quickly relays the information to the relevant department, with the principle of completing necessary actions within seven days.

Depending on the issue, the response period may be adjusted flexibly, but all complaints will be managed systematically with the goal of "processing as quickly as possible."

County Governor Lee Sangik stated, "Administration should begin not after complaints arise, but even before they occur," adding, "By proactively identifying and resolving inconveniences from the residents' perspective through field-oriented administration, we will build a more trustworthy Hampyeong County."
