X-ray Equipment Company DR GEM Donates 20 Million Won for Gyeongbuk Wildfire Relief

DR GEM Co., Ltd. (CEO Park Jeongbyeong) announced on May 25 that it donated 20 million won to the Gyeongbuk branch of the Korean Red Cross (Chairman Kim Jaewang) to support victims of wildfire damage in Gyeongbuk. The donation was made at the Gimcheon plant in Eomo-myeon, Gimcheon.


The donation, which was delivered on May 21, will be used by the Korean Red Cross to support affected residents and recovery efforts.

CEO Park Jeongbyeong stated, "We are delivering this donation with heartfelt sympathy for those suffering from wildfire damage," and added, "I hope that, including this donation, support from across the country will reach the affected residents."


Chairman Kim Jaewang expressed, "I am grateful to CEO Park Jeongbyeong for practicing warm sharing for the victims," and said, "The donated funds will play an important role in helping residents of the affected areas recover and return to their daily lives quickly."


Meanwhile, DR GEM Co., Ltd., established in 2003, is a company specializing in the research, manufacturing, and sales of X-ray imaging equipment. The company is contributing to public health by developing eco-friendly products with low power consumption and high output suitable for the era of low carbon and green energy, as well as low-dose devices that emit minimal X-rays. In addition, DR GEM has actively engaged in social contribution activities by donating its products to Daegu Fatima Hospital, Cheongju University, Shinhan University Department of Radiology, and Kartal Dr. Lutfi Kirdar City Hospital in Istanbul, Turkey, to help overcome COVID-19, and by donating 300 million won in 2024 to KAIST for the advancement of medical AI research.
