Kim Moonsoo Urges Participation in Early Voting... "I Will Also Take Part"

Early Voting Needed to Rally Support Base
Kim: "The Party Will Mobilize All Resources to Oversee and Monitor"

Kim Moonsoo, the presidential candidate of the People Power Party, urged voters on the 25th, four days ahead of the early voting for the 21st presidential election (scheduled for the 29th and 30th), saying, "If you hesitate to participate in early voting and end up missing the main voting day, it would be a significant loss. Please take part in early voting."

After visiting the birthplace of Yuk Youngsoo in Okcheon County, North Chungcheong Province on this day, Kim made an appeal for early voting during a press conference, stating, "If you don't vote, won't we end up with a bad government?"

As the gap in approval ratings with Lee Jaemyung, the presidential candidate of the Democratic Party of Korea, narrows, Kim has determined that allegations of election fraud raised by some conservatives are not helpful for rallying his support base.

Previously, Han Donghoon, the former leader who competed against Kim in the third primary of the People Power Party, also called for active early voting during recent campaign events, urging people not to believe in election fraud allegations and stating, "The People Power Party, which only votes on the main election day, cannot defeat the Democratic Party, which votes over three days (two days of early voting and one day of main voting)."

Former President Yoon Sukyeol also participated in early voting in every election held from the last presidential election, in which he ran, until his impeachment.

Kim stated, "There have been repeated criticisms of the current early voting management system, and there have been numerous calls for institutional reform. However, based on our assessment, it is not possible to implement such reforms immediately in this presidential election," adding, "I promise the people that our party will mobilize all its resources to thoroughly monitor and supervise early voting. Therefore, please do not worry and participate in early voting."

In particular, Kim emphasized, "I will also participate in early voting," and appealed, "Whether it is early voting or the main voting day, please make sure to vote and choose Kim Moonsoo, who stands for fairness and integrity."
