Election Bulletins Mailed to Absentee and Military Voters
The number of polling stations for the 21st presidential election in the Gwangju and Jeonnam regions has been finalized at 1,163.

According to the Gwangju-Jeonnam Election Commission on the 24th, 357 polling stations have been designated in Gwangju and 806 in Jeonnam. All locations are either on the first floor or equipped with elevators, taking into consideration accessibility for the elderly, people with disabilities, and other individuals with mobility challenges.
Each household has received a leaflet containing the voter's name, polling station location, voting hours, and other information, along with a flyer-type election bulletin. The Election Commission also enclosed the flyer-type election bulletins submitted by the three candidates.
For absentee voters, absentee ballots, informational leaflets, and booklet-type election bulletins have been sent out. There are approximately 2,500 absentee voters in Gwangju and about 7,600 in Jeonnam. Marked ballots must be placed in the return envelope and received by the relevant Election Commission office by 8 p.m. on June 3. Mail must be submitted to the post office by June 2 at the latest, and the postage will be covered by the government.
Separately, the Jeonnam Provincial Election Commission has also sent booklet-type election bulletins to approximately 600 soldiers and police officers residing in military bases and other facilities.
