Park Kangsoo, the head of Mapo District, attended the 'Mapo Art Center Plaza Program Event' held at the outdoor plaza of the Mapo Art Center on the afternoon of May 24.
This event, held to celebrate a weekend in May filled with the spirit of spring, saw the participation of approximately 200 Mapo residents and visitors to the Mapo Art Center. Attendees enjoyed a variety of cultural and artistic programs, which were met with an enthusiastic response.
From 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., the event featured a busking performance (M Stage) by the Mapo District Choir and the Mapo District Children's Choir, adding a moving atmosphere to the plaza on a warm spring day. Additionally, a special inline skating class was held for children and teenagers, bringing vibrant energy to the event.
In one corner of the plaza, a craft workshop with artists was held, allowing participants to enjoy creative hands-on experiences such as making wool coin purses, ESG natural scrubbers, pipe cleaner bouquets, and Shrinkles bag charms.
Park Kangsoo, the head of Mapo District, said, "Mapo is considered one of the centers of culture and the arts, and here at the Mapo Art Center, a variety of experiences have been prepared today. On this precious spring day, I hope you will hold hands with your family and friends and create many cherished memories."
