This agreement is intended to expand the scope of health checkup agreements, which were previously limited to incumbent public officials, to include retired public officials. The purpose is to promote the health and improve the quality of life of retirees.

Under the agreement, retired public officials and their families can use the hospitals under the same checkup items and cost conditions as incumbent public officials. The cost of the health checkup is borne by the individual. After the checkup, the hospitals will also provide health management services and health information tailored to each hospital.

Min Musik, President of the Yangju City Local Administration Alumni Association, said, "There was a significant burden regarding health checkups after retirement, but with this agreement, we can now receive high-quality checkups. I am grateful to the city and the partner hospitals."

Mayor Kang Soo Hyun stated, "I would like to thank all retired public officials who have devoted themselves to the development of the city for such a long time. I hope this agreement will provide practical support for a healthy retirement."

Yangju City plans to continue expanding its support measures to improve the medical welfare of both current and retired public officials in the future.
