This training was organized in response to the growing public interest in and demand for access to public information. The aim was to enhance administrative transparency and reliability through accurate and responsible records management.
In particular, the training included programs to strengthen the practical competencies of staff, in line with the nationwide trend of strengthening records and information administration.
The training covered the entire process of records management, from the creation, registration, classification, filing, organization, transfer, appraisal, and disposal of public records, to security and disaster response systems.
In addition, the training focused on practical content that can be immediately applied in the field, such as important considerations when disclosing original documents and guidance on information subject to non-disclosure under the information disclosure system.
At the end of the training, a Q&A session was held, providing a meaningful opportunity for field staff to share the challenges they encounter in their work and to discuss possible improvements.
Bae Seongho, Director of the General Affairs and Saemaul Division, stated, "Accurate records are a valuable asset to administration, and information disclosure is a window for building trust with citizens. We will continue to realize an administration where records and information are alive and active through regular practical training."
