Hampyeong County in Jeollanam-do announced on May 23 that it has attracted corporate investment worth 13.2 billion KRW to revitalize the local economy and create jobs.

On this day, Seojun Co., Ltd. (CEO Myunghyun Choi), Cheonbok Mold Factory No. 2 Co., Ltd., Jeollanam-do Province, and Hampyeong County jointly signed an investment agreement worth 13.2 billion KRW. The signing ceremony, held at Hampyeong County Office, was attended by county officials, Myunghyun Choi, CEO of Seojun Co., Ltd., Jaehyun Choi, Executive Director, and Sungon Kim, CEO of Cheonbok Mold Factory No. 2 Co., Ltd.

Through this agreement, the two companies plan to establish new factories for the production of automotive plastic parts and engine ignition components on a 14,007.6 square meter site within the Hampyeong Bitgreen Industrial Complex. This is expected to contribute to local job creation and economic revitalization.

Myunghyun Choi, CEO of Seojun Co., Ltd., and Sungon Kim, CEO of Cheonbok Mold Factory No. 2 Co., Ltd., stated, "Based on the production of parts supplied to Hyundai and Kia, we have secured stable sales channels. In the future, we will further expand our market share through new product development and increased orders. We will also actively participate in mutual growth with the local community by hiring local talent and purchasing locally produced goods."

County Governor Sangik Lee said, "I hope this agreement will greatly benefit the development of both companies, as well as the revitalization of our local economy and job expansion. We will spare no administrative support to ensure the stable settlement and growth of these businesses."
