According to the National Medical Center on May 23, this amendment to the urban management plan was finalized after reflecting the construction plans for the National Medical Center and the Central Infectious Disease Hospital, gathering opinions from local residents, consulting with Seoul City Hall and Jung-gu Office, and undergoing review by the Urban and Architectural Joint Committee.

The National Medical Center will do its utmost to play a proactive role in essential healthcare as the central institution of the national public health system, and to provide a better environment for the public."
