Chinese robot vacuum manufacturer Ecovacs has officially launched its new robot vacuum cleaner, the 'Deebot T80 Omni', in Korea.
On May 23, Ecovacs announced the release of the Deebot T80 Omni, a T-series robot vacuum featuring the newly applied 'Ozmo Roller Technology', in Korea.
The new Deebot T80 Omni is equipped with Ecovacs' proprietary Ozmo Roller System, which quickly removes everything from dust to stubborn stains. By supplying clean water and discharging contaminated water, the system prevents cross-contamination.
Additionally, with a powerful suction force of 3,700Pa and a high-speed rotation of 200RPM per minute, it effectively removes even tough stains such as coffee or sauce spills. Compared to conventional disc-type mopping products, it delivers over 16 times stronger pressure, enabling a more thorough cleaning performance.
Eight nozzles spray clean water to keep the mop consistently hygienic, followed by high-speed rotation and high pressure to effectively remove stains. The scraper applies uniform pressure to wipe away any remaining stains, while the high-pressure water pump continuously absorbs dirty water to maintain the mop in optimal condition.
The Deebot T80 Omni features an ultra-slim 98mm design and a built-in high-performance camera sensor, allowing it to freely navigate tight spaces such as under beds and sofas. The AI camera recognizes distance and brightness, enabling it to respond appropriately to different situations. The dual structured light module provides precise environmental analysis using 3D recognition technology. The fully integrated dToF LiDAR (Direct Time-of-Flight LiDAR) sensor further enhances obstacle avoidance capabilities.
In addition, the upgraded TrueEdge 2.0 adaptive edge cleaning technology allows the extendable roller mop to flexibly reach and clean along edge structures without leaving gaps. The protruding side brush adheres closely to corners, thoroughly removing dust from hard-to-reach areas.
Furthermore, the improved ZeroTangle 3.0 anti-tangling technology prevents hair from getting tangled during cleaning. The dual cyclone structure and the upgraded AR (Augmented Reality) Clean side brush effectively prevent hair tangling, while the spiral main brush rotates hair toward the suction inlet for powerful removal.
The 10-in-1 Omni Station provides a convenient cleaning environment without additional household chores such as mop washing. It significantly enhances user convenience with features such as mop washing with water up to 75°C, hot air drying at 45°C, automatic dust collection, dual sterilization and disinfection, and automatic detergent dispensing (for direct drainage only).
To commemorate the new product launch, Ecovacs will host a live broadcast on Naver's 'HotITShow' at 7 p.m. on the same day. During the broadcast, purchases will come with benefits worth up to 140,000 KRW, and prizes such as Shinsegae gift certificates (for 20 winners) and a Onebot Mini Vacuum (for 1 winner) will be given away by lottery.
