Powernet Finalizes Product Supply to Korea's Largest Household Goods Retailer... Full-Scale Launch of B2C Business

On May 23, Powernet announced that it is in the preparatory stages of establishing a partnership with a domestic household goods sales company to supply its products.

Powernet, which has been preparing its B2C (business-to-consumer) operations since last year to secure future growth potential, has now finalized a product supply agreement with a major distribution company, marking its official entry into the market.

A Powernet representative stated, "Over the past few years, we have focused our efforts on diversifying our business structure, and one of those efforts was the B2C business, which involves supplying products directly to consumers. Starting with the supply of 5 to 7 types of small electronic devices, we plan to expand our product lineup to include marketable designs and price-competitive products based on reliable quality that customers seek."

The representative added, "We are also conducting a company-wide idea contest to deliver the best value for price in line with our customer vision, and we are establishing in-house standards for quality reliability. We will do our utmost to meet customers' needs."

This month, Powernet completed its initial supply of GaN (next-generation power semiconductor) related green power supply devices for B2C use to North America and Europe. In addition, the company has nearly completed the design development of an adapter integrated with an LFP-applied auxiliary battery, and plans to launch its own promotional activities in Asia starting this year.

Despite ongoing external economic uncertainties, Powernet has achieved record-high results every quarter, demonstrating stable growth. Furthermore, starting this year, with the full-scale launch of its B2C business, as well as EMS (finished product manufacturing) and battery pack-centered energy business, the company expects to secure solid growth drivers. Powernet also anticipates that the results of its continuous innovation activities will improve its profit structure, and that this year will mark the beginning of a new growth momentum.
