Seoul City Ambassadors Gather Together
"Discussing Ways for More Foreigners to Visit Seoul"
Actor Shin Hyunjoon revealed that he met with Seoul Mayor Oh Sehoon, along with Jung Junho and Go Dooshim.
On May 21, Shin Hyunjoon shared a photo taken with Mayor Oh on his Instagram, writing, "Seoul My Soul. Come travel to Seoul."
He stated, "We had many conversations with the honorary mayors of Seoul so that more foreigners can visit Seoul."
In the released photo, Mayor Oh is seen smiling and posing with actors Jung Junho, Go Dooshim, Park Sangwon, as well as Yoo Hyunjun, professor at Hongik University's Department of Architecture, and Kim Byungmin, Deputy Mayor for Political Affairs of Seoul.
Although Shin Hyunjoon did not mention the details of the meeting, it appears that the gathering was held to discuss matters related to public activities connected to Seoul city administration, as all participants are engaged in such efforts.
Since November 2023, Shin Hyunjoon has served as a promotional ambassador for the Seoul Sports Association for the Disabled, chaired by Mayor Oh, and has been actively promoting various events and competitions.
Go Dooshim serves as an honorary mayor in the field of culture and arts, while Professor Yoo Hyunjun has been the honorary mayor for the city and architecture sector since December 2023. The honorary mayor system, which has been in place since 2016, is intended to reflect citizens' opinions in city administration. It is an unpaid honorary position with a one-year term. Jung Junho was appointed as a promotional ambassador for Gangnam District in 2023 and has been active in that role.
