Support of 500,000 Won Per Transaction for Up to Five Vacant House Contracts
On May 22, Hongseong County in South Chungcheong Province announced that it is recruiting 'local cooperation real estate agents' to participate in the Rural Vacant House Bank Revitalization Support Project until June 5.
The county plans to recruit 'local cooperation real estate agents' from among licensed agents within the county who are well-versed in local characteristics and surrounding conditions. These agents will be responsible for the overall process of vacant house transactions, with the goal of revitalizing the vacant house market in rural areas.
In particular, considering the difficulty of obtaining consent from vacant house owners, the county is preparing to collect online consent forms via text messages and web-based methods, in addition to the existing postal notification system, to facilitate smoother consent collection.
Licensed real estate agents wishing to participate can refer to the announcement on the county office website and apply in person at the county office, or submit their applications by mail or email to the county or the Rural Migration and Construction Support Center.
After the application and review process, selected local cooperation real estate agents will receive an activity fee of 250,000 won at each stage?upon listing and upon contract completion?on both the 'Real Estate Transaction Platform' and 'Greendaero,' for a total of 500,000 won per transaction. Each agent is limited to a maximum of five vacant house transactions (total activity fee of 2.5 million won).
Bok Inhan, head of the county's Building Permit Division, said, "We expect that this vacant house bank project will help revitalize vacant house transactions and have a positive impact on attracting new residents to Hongseong County."
