On the 21st (local time), Trump Jr. participated as a speaker at the 5th Qatar Economic Forum (QEF) held in Doha, the capital of Qatar. When asked whether he would consider running for office after President Trump completes his term, he replied, "It's an honor to be asked such a question," and gave the aforementioned answer.
Trump Jr. emphasized the importance of "standing at the forefront of fighting against the madness of the 'woke' ideology that has dominated American business circles for the past decade." He also said, "Maybe, I don't know, but perhaps someday there could be such a calling," adding, "I will always be an enthusiastic supporter of this."
However, he expressed discomfort at being compared to Hunter Biden, the son of former President Joe Biden, stating, "The idea that Trump Jr. comes after Hunter Biden is completely wrong."
Trump Jr. said, "I was a businessman even before the presidential term, and I will continue to be one afterward." He added, "Hunter Biden magically became a businessman as soon as his father took office as president, received money from suspicious foreign companies, and influenced U.S. policy, but we do not do such things."
When asked whether he believes the Trump administration's trade policies, including the imposition of global reciprocal tariffs, have benefited the U.S. economy, he answered, "There is no doubt."
He said, "People expect instant gratification regarding certain matters, but this is due to media bias and hysteria," adding, "The reality is different; it takes time for things to be created and accumulate."
Regarding President Trump's Middle East tour from the 13th to the 16th, he said, "The Gulf region offers remarkable investment opportunities compared to Western Europe." Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) pledged large-scale investments in the U.S. in line with President Trump's visit.
Trump Jr. said of the Trump Organization, which he operates, "We have had long-standing relationships with the Gulf region even before President Trump took office," but added, "We do not do business with government agencies."
