Expansion of Volunteer Activities and Social Participation for Out-of-School Youth
On May 21, the Gwangsan-gu Out-of-School Youth Support Center (Kkumdream Center) in Gwangju signed a business agreement with the Gwangju Caritas Protected Workshop, agreeing to cooperate in expanding volunteer and social participation opportunities for out-of-school youth.

The center stated that the purpose of this agreement is to contribute to the healthy growth of youth, as well as to improve the quality of work and life for people with disabilities working at the protected workshop.
The center's environmental volunteer club, "Kkum Dream GREEN," will visit the workshop and carry out volunteer activities during May and June.
Kim (18), who participated in the volunteer work, said, "I actually learned and gained even more from this experience," and added, "I was happy to be able to help someone."
Center Director Ha Youngja said, "I hope that, through solidarity with community resources, young people will grow into inclusive members of society."
Meanwhile, since 2015, the Gwangsan-gu Kkumdream Center has been operated by the Gwangsan-gu Office, which entrusted its management to the Talent Development Academy, as part of the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family's support project for out-of-school youth.
