The Chungnam Provincial Office of Education has signed a business agreement with the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission to cooperate in nurturing future talents with integrity and in spreading a culture of integrity.
On May 21, at the conference room of the provincial office of education, Superintendent Kim Ji-cheol, the chairperson of the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission, and officials from both organizations attended the signing ceremony of the business agreement for "nurturing future talents with integrity and spreading a culture of integrity in the education field."
During the signing ceremony, Superintendent Kim Ji-cheol and Chairperson Yoo Cheolhwan exchanged signed copies of the agreement and both organizations pledged to jointly cooperate in spreading a culture of integrity in the education field going forward.
The agreement includes: discovering tasks for institutional improvement to promote integrity education for students; developing integrity education content and expanding its use in schools; strengthening the prevention and management of improper benefit claims to enhance the soundness of educational finance management; and cooperating on proactive improvement efforts in areas vulnerable to corruption.
Superintendent Kim Ji-cheol stated, "To build a just and trusted society, each and every student must grow into a citizen who embodies fairness and transparency," and emphasized, "We will continue to establish a sustainable foundation for student integrity education through ongoing cooperation with the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission."
