The Korean Red Cross (President Kim Cheolsoo) announced on May 21, 2025, that the fourth-generation girl group Kiss of Life has been appointed as youth Red Cross (RCY) ambassadors at a ceremony held at its Seoul office in Jung-gu, Seoul.
On this day, Kiss of Life officially began their activities as ambassadors. Going forward, they are expected to help raise youth interest in RCY activities and participate in campaigns and events aimed at promoting humanitarian values.
The Korean Red Cross explained that Kiss of Life was selected as ambassadors because their healthy energy and sincere musical message align with RCY's core values of service, friendship, and respect for life.
At the appointment ceremony, Belle of Kiss of Life said, "I am delighted to become an ambassador for RCY, one of the leading youth organizations in Korea. I will do my best to encourage many people to take an interest in and participate in RCY activities." She added, "Just like our group name, I wanted to join activities that save lives, and I am grateful to have the opportunity to do so together."
In his congratulatory remarks, Kim Cheolsoo, President of the Korean Red Cross, said, "Just as Kiss of Life delivers dreams and hope to young people around the world through music, I hope that the humanitarian values promoted by RCY will spread even further through Kiss of Life."
Since 2007, RCY has appointed leading artists of each era as RCY ambassadors. SG Wannabe, FT Island, EXO, Red Velvet, Pentagon, and Trendz have previously served as ambassadors.
