"Spouse TV Debates Should Be Actively Pursued"
"Bulletproof Glass Walls Are Sophisticated Political Marketing," She Claims
As the People Power Party raises its voice regarding the verification of presidential candidates' spouses, Na Kyungwon, co-chair of the People Power Party's joint election committee, stated on her social media on the 20th that "there is a national demand for thorough verification of presidential candidates' spouses." On this day, Na emphasized, "The purpose of TV debates for presidential candidates' spouses, as proposed by Kim Yongtae, the emergency committee chair, should be respected and actively realized," adding, "The spouse of the president is not merely a family member, but a position that can exert significant, and sometimes invisible, influence over the entire administration of state affairs." She then continued her remarks, specifically targeting Kim Hye Kyung, spouse of Lee Jae Myung, the presidential candidate of the Democratic Party of Korea.

In particular, Na pointed out, "Mrs. Kim is the very person who was sentenced to a fine of 1.5 million won in the appellate court for the private misuse of a Gyeonggi Provincial Government corporate card," and stated, "Since it is known that the card was used in support of candidate Lee's presidential campaign, this is not merely an issue concerning the candidate's spouse, but a matter directly related to candidate Lee's own morality, integrity, and eligibility." She added, "As Mrs. Kim herself emphasized, there must be unlimited verification of presidential candidates' spouses as well."
Na's criticism extended not only to Mrs. Kim but also to candidate Lee Jae Myung. On the 21st, she claimed on social media, "Candidate Lee is deceiving the public by even erecting bulletproof glass walls to hide his crimes, immorality, and unfitness." Recently, candidate Lee has not only appeared at campaign sites wearing a bulletproof vest but also continued his speeches behind bulletproof glass walls on stage. In response, Na characterized this as "faking a terror threat," stating, "After abusing the system for legislative immunity, he is now displaying bulletproof glass in front of the public, inciting fear, hatred, and division," and asserted, "He intends to use non-existent live ammunition terror and assassination conspiracy theories as tools for his own political marketing."

Furthermore, she said, "As a result of our office's request for information from the National Police Agency on the 14th, there has not been a single case reported to the police regarding assassination or terror threats involving Russian-made assassination tips or sniper rifle smuggling, contrary to candidate Lee's claims." She continued, "Why does he not request a police investigation while inciting fears of assassination and terror by firearms?"
