Daejeon TP to Provide Consulting Support for Defense and Drone Companies... Recruiting Five Firms

Applications Accepted from June 2 to 9... Up to 5 Million KRW in Support

Daejeon Technopark announced on May 21 that it is recruiting companies to participate in the Civil-Military Bridge Coordinator Support Project, which aims to accelerate entry into the defense and drone sectors of the defense industry market.

Eligible applicants are small and medium-sized enterprises in the defense and drone sectors, both upstream and downstream, located in the Daejeon area. Companies wishing to newly enter the defense industry market may also apply. Five companies will be selected, and each will receive consulting support of up to 5 million KRW.

Companies applying for the program must secure a coordinator in their desired consulting field before submitting their application. If it is difficult to find a coordinator, companies can request a recommendation from the Daejeon TP Civil-Military Bridge Coordinator Pool.

The application period is from June 2 to June 9, and detailed information can be found on the Daejeon Business Information Portal and the Daejeon Technopark website.

Kim Wooyeon, Director of Daejeon TP, stated, "A professional coordinator is essential for entering the defense industry market, which has high entry barriers," and added, "I hope that companies in Daejeon's defense and drone sectors will be able to overcome various challenges through specialized consulting from civil-military bridge coordinators, thereby further enhancing Daejeon's status as the capital of K-defense."
