On May 20, the Busan Veterans Affairs Office held the "Veterans Golden Bell with Bobo" event at Bumin Elementary School in Seo-gu, Busan. This event was designed as an experiential quiz program as part of veterans education, with 113 fifth-grade students participating in a lively atmosphere.
The "Veterans Golden Bell" program was created to help students reflect on the meaning of sacrifice and dedication for the nation and to naturally internalize the value of veterans affairs.
In particular, the event featured a photo session with the Veterans Affairs Office mascot "Bobo," a K-POP dance performance, event quizzes, and a revival round for eliminated participants, offering a variety of experiential elements that received an enthusiastic response from the students.
During the event, prizes were awarded to outstanding participants, including one grand prize winner, two excellence awardees, and five encouragement awardees. All participants received veterans-themed souvenirs, making the event a true festival of experiencing veterans affairs.
Lee Namil, Director of the Busan Regional Office of Veterans Affairs, stated, "This meaningful year, marking the 80th anniversary of Liberation, has provided an opportunity to honor the sacrifices of our patriotic ancestors and national heroes." He emphasized, "We will continue to expand education and experiential programs so that future generations can naturally encounter the values of veterans affairs in their daily lives."
