Former President Yoon Sukyeol attended a screening of a documentary film advocating the theory of election fraud at Megabox Dongdaemun in Seoul on the 21st. Aside from his court schedule following his impeachment on April 4, this marks his first public appearance.

When former President Yoon, dressed in a suit without a tie, appeared at the theater, supporters nearby chanted his name. Without making any remarks, he went straight into the screening room. The film he watched that day, "Fraudulent Election, a Work of God," was planned and produced by PD Lee Youngdon and former Korean history lecturer Jeon Hangil, among others. It is known that Jeon requested that former President Yoon attend the screening the previous day.

There is a general view that former President Yoon, who had cited the theory of election fraud as a major reason for the declaration of the 12·3 Martial Law, attending a film related to election fraud once again could influence the presidential race.

An official from the presidential office told Asia Economy, "Former President Yoon is now a private citizen," and added, "We are not aware of his specific schedule and cannot comment on it." Shin Dongwook, chief spokesperson for the People Power Party, also told reporters, "Former President Yoon is already a private citizen who left our party," and added, "We have no comment regarding his schedule."
