On May 20, a total of about 40 people participated in the volunteer work, including Kim Byunghwan, head of the NongHyup Sancheong-gun branch, Cho Changho, president of the Sancheong-gun NongHyup, members of the Rural Housewives Association, the Hometown Housewives Association, and employees. They worked hard to remove bamboo that had been burned by the wildfire.

Although the task of clearing charred bamboo is difficult and the bamboo is sharp, the participants actively engaged in the work despite the challenging terrain, providing great comfort and hope to local residents.

Ryu Gilnyeon, head of Gyeongnam NongHyup, said, "First of all, we share the pain of local residents and farmers who lost their homes and livelihoods due to the unexpected large-scale wildfire, and all our employees have come together to help them return to their daily lives as soon as possible. Going forward, NongHyup will continue to stand by farmers as a partner, overcoming difficulties together."
