Model Year Update and Addition of Special "Honors" Trim
Premium Features Now Standard...Customer Event for Buyers
On May 21, Hyundai Motor Company announced the launch of the 2026 Grandeur, a new model year version of the Grandeur featuring the addition of a special trim called "Honors."
For the 2026 Grandeur Honors trim, Hyundai has incorporated many of the most popular features from previous models. Features that were previously exclusive to the Calligraphy trim?such as the Black Ink exclusive exterior design, Calligraphy-exclusive 19-inch alloy wheels and tires, sequential turn indicators (front and rear), and dynamic welcome lights (front and rear)?are now standard. The model also comes equipped with Hyundai SmartSense II, a BOSE premium sound package, Built-in Cam 2, and augmented reality (AR) navigation.
For the Calligraphy trim, Built-in Cam 2 and AR navigation are now standard. Additionally, features such as a 10.25-inch full-touch climate control panel and an interactive ambient mood lamp (with sequential lighting and driving mode interlocking functions) are now included as standard in the Exclusive trim. Natural leather seats, ventilated front seats, and a smart power trunk are standard features on the Premium trim.
The selling prices of the 2026 Grandeur (based on an individual consumption tax rate of 3.5%) are as follows for the 2.5 gasoline model: Premium at 37,980,000 KRW, Exclusive at 42,870,000 KRW, Honors at 45,130,000 KRW, and Calligraphy at 47,100,000 KRW. For the 3.5 gasoline model: Premium at 40,420,000 KRW, Exclusive at 45,300,000 KRW, Honors at 47,570,000 KRW, and Calligraphy at 49,540,000 KRW. For the hybrid model, reflecting tax benefits: Premium at 43,540,000 KRW, Exclusive at 48,430,000 KRW, Honors at 50,690,000 KRW, and Calligraphy at 52,660,000 KRW.
To commemorate the launch of the 2026 Grandeur, Hyundai is offering a complimentary "Body Care" membership to customers who select the Grandeur as their first Hyundai purchase. This service covers repair or replacement for exterior damage occurring within one year or 20,000 kilometers, within the coverage limit for each part. This benefit is available to customers who sign a contract in May and take delivery in June. Additionally, customers who contract for the Grandeur Honors trim will receive a complimentary smart card key.
A Hyundai representative stated, "The newly introduced Grandeur Honors in the 2026 Grandeur is a special trim developed in response to customer feedback, with the goal of achieving customer satisfaction in all aspects of design and product value. As the Grandeur marks its 40th anniversary next year, we will continue striving to reward our customers' unwavering support with outstanding product value."
Meanwhile, the Grandeur continues its popularity, with 71,656 units sold in the domestic passenger car market last year. It also received the top honor in the sedan category of the '2025 National Representative Brand' industrial brand awards for the fifth consecutive year.
