600 Companies Join... A Bridgehead for Global Market Entry
Customized Programs Operated, Including Newly Established Customs Response Consultation Center
On May 21, the Korea SMEs and Startups Agency (Jungjinkong) announced that it will hold the "2025 Export Voucher Matching Fair" at COEX in Seoul over two days, May 21 and 22. This large-scale networking event is designed to support small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in entering overseas markets and to strengthen their export capabilities, with a focus on fostering globally competitive SMEs through collaboration with implementing agencies.
Now in its seventh year since its first event in 2019, the Matching Fair has continued to expand in scale and program offerings each year. This year, the event is set to be the largest ever, with approximately 600 participants, including 440 participating companies, 120 implementing agencies, and 40 overseas buyers.
During the event, a variety of programs will be held to support the global expansion of SMEs, including: ▲ Matching consultations between participating companies and implementing agencies ▲ Export consultations with overseas buyers ▲ Export voucher mentoring center ▲ Online export consultation center ▲ Customs response consultation center.
At the "Participating Companies?Implementing Agencies Matching Consultation," companies will receive customized services through pre-matching with outstanding implementing agencies in 13 service areas of the export voucher program, provided in one-on-one consultation sessions. In addition, export consultations with overseas buyers will be held, inviting 40 buyers from 20 countries for direct meetings.
At the "Export Voucher Mentoring Center," experts from leading implementing agencies in key service areas will offer one-on-one consultations and provide company-specific roadmaps for utilizing export voucher services. The "Online Export Consultation Center," which recorded high satisfaction last year, will also operate, offering tailored advice on strategies and practical measures for entering global online marketplaces.
In particular, this year, a new "Customs Response Consultation Center" will be established and operated in response to changes in the global trade environment. Consultation channels with customs corporations and law firms have been set up to support SMEs facing difficulties due to measures such as reciprocal tariffs imposed by the United States.
Park Janghyuk, Executive Director for Global Growth at Jungjinkong, stated, "The Export Voucher Matching Fair is a starting point to help SMEs secure competitiveness in the global market and achieve continuous growth," adding, "We will build a more systematic and efficient support system to ensure that SMEs can receive the services they need in a timely manner."
