Guro District Recruiting Participants for "2025 Public-Private Cooperation Enhancement Training"

Guro District (District Mayor Jang Inhong) is launching the "2025 Public-Private Cooperation Enhancement Training" to promote the activation of public-private governance and is now recruiting participants.

The district has integrated resident participatory budgeting and public-private governance education into a single program, so that both residents and public officials can jointly understand the concept and necessity of governance and apply it in practice through the public-private cooperation enhancement training.

The training is open to members of the Guro District Governance Council, resident participatory budgeting committee members, Guro District residents, and employees working in Guro District. It will be held a total of seven times over June and July.

The first session will feature a special lecture by Cho Yongmin, CEO of Unbound Lab, on the topic "How to Bring Change to My Life in the Age of AI," to be held on June 12 at the Guro District Office auditorium.

Subsequent sessions will be held at the Creative Hall (Main Building, 3rd Floor) of the Guro District Office on June 27 and 30, and July 4, 7, 9, and 14, covering topics such as conflict management and communication methods in governance settings, understanding and practicing resident participatory budgeting, and public-private governance.

Participants who complete at least 70% of the entire program (five sessions or 11 hours) will receive a certificate of completion.

The special lecture will accept up to 250 participants, while the other six sessions will each accept around 40 participants per session. Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis and must be completed at least one week before each session. All sessions are free of charge.

Those interested in participating can apply online through the Guro District Office website, QR code, or email, or apply by phone or in person at the Policy Advisor’s Office of the Guro District Office.
