to Lifelong Job Consulting
Suncheon City (Mayor Noh Gwan-gyu) announced on the 19th that it will host the "2025 Jeonnam Women’s Lifelong Job Fair" at Suncheon Palma Indoor Gymnasium on the 21st, providing job information and linking employment and start-up opportunities for women in Jeonnam who are seeking employment.
This fair is co-hosted by Jeollanam-do and Suncheon City, and organized by the Suncheon YWCA Women’s Resources Development Center. Held under the slogan "The Joy of Finding My Job, Together in Jeonnam," the fair aims to provide customized job information tailored to each stage of a woman’s life cycle in line with the changing employment paradigm. It is also designed to expand opportunities for women’s participation in society through various paths such as reemployment and entrepreneurship.
A total of 115 companies are scheduled to participate in the fair, with eight cities and counties from eastern Jeonnam?including Suncheon, Damyang, Gokseong, Gurye, Goheung, Boseong, Hwasun, and Jangheung?taking part.
The fair will feature four themed zones: ▲Leisure and Work ▲Life and Work ▲Region and Work ▲Life Cycle and Work. It will offer life-design jobs for the middle-aged and older, exploration of promising occupations for women by generation, and introductions to regionally specialized jobs. In addition, practical employment support programs such as one-on-one recruitment counseling, psychological assessments, and resume and cover letter clinics will be provided.
There will also be flea market-style start-up booths introducing small-capital business items for aspiring entrepreneurs, as well as career roadmap experiences reflecting life design.
A city official said, "This fair goes beyond a simple recruitment event; it is a specialized job fair centered on life design, reflecting a balance between women’s work and life. We hope for your interest and active participation."
