The Busan Women's Family and Lifelong Education Promotion Institute (Director: Yoon Jiyeong, Yeopyeongwon) will host the 5th and 6th classes of the 'Domoheon Busan School' starting June 5, 2025, featuring lectures by financial expert John Lee and broadcaster-turned-historian Professor Jeong Jaehwan.
'Domoheon Busan School' is a lifelong learning program designed to help participants reflect on their lives and explore the value of life through lectures by renowned figures and experts. The 3rd and 4th classes are currently underway and enjoying great popularity.
The upcoming 5th and 6th classes will run for a total of eight weeks over June and July 2025. The 5th class will be held every Thursday from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., and the 6th class will take place from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Applications open on May 19, 2025, and any adult residing in Busan may apply. Participation is free of charge, and applications can be submitted through the Domoheon website.
On the opening day, June 5, 2025, John Lee, well known for 'John Lee's Wealth School,' will deliver the first lecture on the theme of 'Life and Money,' sharing his investment philosophy and experiences. On June 19, 2025, Professor Jeong Jaehwan, a historian and former broadcaster, will give a lecture titled 'Second Act of Life: Living with Hangeul.'
The 5th class will feature a diverse group of lecturers including John Lee, Professor Jeong Jaehwan, Jeon Hyesuk (former Director of the Busan City Women and Family Bureau), Professor Sim Mija (Busan Digital University), Professor Kang Jeonggyu (Dong-A University Graduate School of Real Estate), Im Sunyoung (Research Fellow at Korea Exchange), and Cha Gyeongsu (CEO of PLUS Pension Consulting).
The 6th class will also include John Lee and Professor Jeong Jaehwan, along with writer Park Seokhyeon, Professor Kim Namdeuk (Professor Emeritus, College of Pharmacy, Pusan National University), writer Yoo Jeongim, Professor Han Donguk (Silla University), and Dr. Lee Gwangmi (Family Medicine Specialist), who will deliver lectures on a variety of topics including life, health, and writing. The final session of each class (July 31, 2025) will be held as a graduation ceremony and networking day.
