On May 19, Ecopro announced that it had held the 4th Eco Green Day with approximately 6,000 participants, including children and their families. The event took place on May 17 at Ochang Lake Park in Cheongju, North Chungcheong Province.

Eco Green Day is a children's environmental festival co-hosted by Ecopro, which is headquartered in Ochang, North Chungcheong Province, and the international child rights NGO Save the Children. The festival aims to raise awareness of environmental issues and encourage practical action in daily life, and is held every May.

The main program of Eco Green Day, the children's drawing contest, was open to participants from kindergarten to elementary school. The contest was held under the theme "Our Promise for the Earth." After a fair evaluation by an external panel of judges, a total of 60 children were awarded certificates and prizes: 3 grand prize winners, 3 first prize winners, 9 excellence award winners, 15 encouragement award winners, and 30 special prize winners.

The grand prize winners were: Lee Jun Jeon from Chungju Haeseong Kindergarten in the kindergarten division; Eunwoo Sung, a first grader at Cheonan Bulmu Elementary School, in the lower elementary division (grades 1-3); and Jimin Park, a sixth grader at Cheongju Changri Elementary School, in the upper elementary division (grades 4-6).

In addition to the children's drawing contest, the event featured a variety of activities and experiential programs for families to enjoy together, including a magic show and a coffee grounds keyring workshop.

This year, in particular, about 10 foreign families living in Ochang, North Chungcheong Province, from countries such as India, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, and Russia, also participated. Apana Rugade from India said, "This is a great environmental education program for children, so I have attended for three consecutive years," and added, "It was an event where we could see Ecopro's commitment to the environment."

In his opening remarks, Sangwoon Choi, Vice President of Ecopro, said, "Ecopro aims to be a company that grows together with local residents," and added, "I am proud that Eco Green Day is becoming a representative festival of the region, and I hope it will be a valuable opportunity for children to realize the importance of protecting the environment."
