[Photo] KOSPI Falls Below 2,600 Mark During Intraday Trading

International credit rating agency Moody's downgraded the U.S. credit rating from 'Aaa' to 'Aa1' by one notch last weekend, marking the first time in 108 years that such a downgrade has occurred. As a result, the U.S. stock market showed weakness, and on May 19, the Korean stock market was also affected. As of 10:50 a.m. on this day, the KOSPI had fallen by 27.92 points (-1.06%) to 2,598.95, breaking below the 2,600 mark during intraday trading.
