Yecheon County Launches Music Therapy Program "Creating Emotional Harmony Together" for Elementary Students

Aiming to Improve Emotional Expression and Peer Relationships
Five Sessions to Be Held Until June 20

Yecheon County in Gyeongbuk has launched the group music therapy program "Creating Emotional Harmony Together" for third and fourth grade elementary school students to support their emotional development and enhance their social skills.

This program was designed to help children naturally express their emotions through music, relieve stress, and promote positive interactions with their peers.


The program will run every Friday from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. until June 20, for a total of five sessions, and will include a variety of activities such as playing instruments, singing, improvisational performances, and music role-playing.


Yoon Sunhee, Director of the Resident Happiness Division, stated, "We plan to continue supporting children so that they can develop healthy emotions and communication skills with their friends through music."


Meanwhile, the Yecheon County Youth Counseling and Welfare Center provides tailored psychological and emotional support services, including individual counseling, group programs, and parent education. For related inquiries, please contact the center.
